THE LUCY SHOW -- “Lucy Gets Trapped”
Season 6 episode 2, originally aired September 18, 1967
Written by Milt Josefsberg and Ray Singer
Directed by Jack Donohue
Starring Lucille Ball (Lucy) and Gale Gordon (Mr. Mooney)
THE LUCY SHOW (1962-1968) is a half-hour American sitcom about a widow and her recently-divorced friend Vivian living together in a house with their children. A follow up to I Love Lucy, The Lucy Show features Lucy's misadventures with her job as a secretary for a banker, Mr. Mooney. Though the show was not expected to last more than a season, it did very well in terms of ratings, going on to air for six seasons. Lucy and Mr. Mooney were the only two consistent characters throughout the series; the rest of the cast's disappearances had to be explained in different episodes. Despite the lack of permanence regarding the cast, each season was well-received, placing within the top 10 of that year's Nielson ratings.
The Lucy Show was filmed at Desilu Studios in Culver City, California and produced by Desilu Productions.

Subject: One of my favourites
This episode is one of my favourite episodes of 60's TV, since it contains lots of 60's household items as part of the "Department Store" scenes.
Subject: Yep, I'm reviewing a video I uploaded myself, again
"The Lucy Show" was Lucille Ball's 3rd TV series after "I Love Lucy" and "The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour" (A.K.A "We Love Lucy"), and ran from 1962-1968. In this episode, Lucy lies to her boss so she can visit a department store during a sale. "The Lucy Show" is a fairly typical 60's sitcom, But is weaker than some.
